When I am in a crowded room
And strangers' eyes are all I see,
I'm not uneasy or afraid,
For my friend Jesus stands with me.
When apprehension haunts my mind and
Tomorrow looms like a foggy strand,
I have a guide who'll see me through,
For my friend Jesus holds my hand.
And when the horizon of my heart
Along the east begins to glow,
Will my light also touch his heart ?
If our friend Jesus makes it so.
When evening comes and God's stars bloom
Like crystal flowers far above,
I fall asleep wrapped in the arms
Of my friend Jesus' boundless love.
And when, someday, I've reached the end
Of my life's road, though I may be
Still single, I never walked alone,
For my friend Jesus walked with me. ©
I thank Him for always being there for me. My Friend Jesus is an original poem by Linda Randles.
The sound track below done on the guitar is, "What A Friend We Have In Jesus." This was one of my mother's favorites.Translate page for your language.
If you don't know Jesus as your Savior and friend - He is only a prayer away.
Jesus is all about love and He can be your best friend too.
"Give thanks when you arise in the morning,
Give thanks for the morning light, for your life and strength.
Give thanks for your food and the joy of living.
If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies in yourself."
~Tecumseh~
Lord give us inspiration, help us to be what you want us to be and to go where you lead. Thank you for giving us the capability to love deeply. For helping us to grow and learn and understand your paths. I pray this year that I and many others will follow you and listen to you.
The lyrics to one of my songs are on the next page. Someday we will all see Jesus face to face!
