God's Home & Mine - Where The Eagle Flies
High on a mountain where the eagles soar
Is an awesome God, whom I adore.
But there's a knife in His heart and blood in His eyes -
Because lives are discarded like trash
In a land where the eagle cries
America, don't you care?
Broken sparrows are everywhere
Millions of unborn children have died
Oh bow your heads and begin to pray
For a land where the eagle flies.

Abortion, this is something that I am very strongly against. I may be ruffling a few feathers, but I fear for a land that murders its' own! We have forgotten the principals of this great land which was founded "Under God." The Ten Commandments and prayer have been taken from the schools. Still I have a mountain of hope for the new and better life when the eagle once more flies on wings of change.
The song playing, An Eagle When She Flies, was written by Dolly Parton.
Dolly Parton sang to me at the Muskingum County Fair in August of 1975. I was thrilled because I almost didn't get in the gate! A Deputy Sheriff drove up, took one look at my huge belly and said, "You're not coming in here!" I begged and pleaded. So finally he agreed to let me sit right up front where he could keep an eye on me. Dolly didn't fail to notice this really big fan of hers. She came down and sang directly to me. Dolly Parton is a beautiful lady from the inside out. My 1st baby and only son Jeff, who is a real blessing in my life was born 2 days later.
"A personal message from me to you. Life is a problem, and each of us is a problem, but it remains for each one of us to make the most of the fact that here we are and let's take it - and smile. Disappointments come to us when least expected. We face losses in health, money and often a friend. At the time so sudden is the impact we hardly know what to do, but we can take it and smile. All events pass, and every experience has it's lesson. The hurts of the mind and body will heal in time. Great characters are created out of dire emergencies, and even tragedies. Have faith and courage so as to take each as it faces us.Taking all things , good or bad, in good grace is the mark of a triumphant life. Even in the smaller events of everyday life we are challenged often to take something that may humiliate us, but let us not shrink in stature, but take all things in their stride.People who early learn how to take all things in their stride, facing each with a smile are really the genuine conquerors in this world. To them there are no permanent defeats." Written by my dad, Pastor Charles Randles Sr. ~ August 28, 1907 - October 17, 1993.
If you are expecting a baby and don't know what to do - don't have an abortion. Consider adoption. My own parents were foster parents to many children and would have adopted if they could have.
Baby From Heaven is a good place to get help and even choose a family for your child. There is also an online form for those wishing to adopt a child.
This is a beautiful video that is set to the popular hymn On Eagles Wings.
The eagle has made an amazing comeback, with the help of our people, from nearly the point of extinction. This is proof that if people will learn to love one another, bow their heads or lift up hands in praise, that Creator will also heal our great land. We are many, but we all are one. The book of Revelations tells us that in Heaven there will be people from every Nation, tribe and tongue..There are differences of customs and languages and we should respect this. If you can't get along here, you will not be accepted in Heaven! Every life is sacred to God! Pictured below is a Takamine my favorite guitar and my son Jeff Voorhies, who also plays a guitar.

The Story - Our Elegant Eagle
The eagle has the longest life span of its' species. It can
live up to 70 years. But to reach this age, the eagle must make
a hard decision. In its' 40's, its long and flexible talons can no longer grab prey which serves as food. Its' long and sharp beak becomes bent. Its' old aged and heavy wings due to their thick feathers, become stuck to its' chest and make it difficult to fly. Then the eagle is stuck with only 2 options: die or go through a painful process of change which lasts 150 days. The process requires that the eagle fly to a mountain top and sit on its' nest. There the eagle knocks its' beak against a rock, until it plucks it out. After plucking it out, the eagle will wait for a new beak to grow
back and then it will pluck out its' talons. When its' new talons grow back, the eagle starts plucking its' old - aged feathers. And after 5 months, the eagle takes its' famous flight of rebirth and lives for 30 more years.
